Van Morrison sets first British Airways ARC residency in London for September 2026

Van Morrison is heading back to London this autumn for a five-night residency at the new British Airways ARC venue at Olympia, a booking that also gives the still-fresh room its first residency run.

The Northern Irish musician, singer and songwriter will open the shows on September 23, then return on September 24, 27, 28 and 29. Every date will be fully seated. Tickets go on sale at 9am BST on Friday, May 15.

The dates arrive less than a year after the British Airways ARC was announced last November as a 3,800-capacity arena inside Olympia, London, with early bookings also including Self Esteem, McFly, the Zac Brown Band and Khalid. Opening in June 16, the venue is clearly being positioned as a major new stop for touring artists, and Morrison has landed in the first wave.

“We are thrilled to welcome Van Morrison as the very first artist to have a residency at our brand-new venue,” Lucy Noble, SVP UK venues at AEG Presents, said in a new statement. “The shows are set to be incredible.”

For Morrison, the London run comes in the middle of a busy stretch. He recently released Somebody Tried To Sell Me A Bridge, an album that turns him back toward blues and includes covers of B.B. King and Buddy Guy. Last month, he also received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 Jazz FM Awards. Later this summer, he is due to appear at a string of festivals, including Montreux Jazz Festival alongside RAYE, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, PinkPantheress, Lewis Capaldi and more.
