MUNA unveil ‘Eastside Girls’ video and map out expansive 2026 UK, Europe and North America tour

MUNA have paired the release of their new video for “Eastside Girls” with a properly far-reaching 2026 tour, one that will take the LA trio through the UK, Europe and North America after a run of already announced dates this month and into the summer.

The clip arrives in the wake of Dancing On The Wall, the band’s fourth studio album, out now through Saddest Factory Records/Secretly Group. It follows 2022’s self-titled record and marks what the band have called their most precise and sonically expansive album yet. In a statement, they thanked listeners who have been there from the start and nodded to anyone arriving now, saying:

“We’re excited to finally release our fourth album. Thank you to everyone who has been with us since day one and welcome to those of you who are just joining us… you’re right on time. This is an album about love, heat (literal and metaphorical), horniness, and heartache, grounded in the here and now as we experience it. We hope it makes for good company, wherever you are.”

The “Eastside Girls” video keeps things suitably low-key and stylised, with the trio framed by warm retro lighting and casting themselves as mechanics while the song plays out from the backseat of a car. It is a simple idea, but one that fits the band’s current moment: polished, self-aware, and comfortable working within a pop framework that doesn’t need to overstate itself.

The tour adds another layer to what has already been a busy rollout. MUNA’s upcoming dates begin after previously announced shows in Los Angeles, Brooklyn and London this month, before they move into festival season with slots including Lollapalooza. The new run starts in Arizona on September 17 and stretches across cities including Chicago, Dallas, Nashville, Atlanta, Boston and Santa Barbara, with Hemlocke Springs supporting those North American dates.

From there, the band head to Europe in November for stops in Dublin, Glasgow, London and beyond, before continuing on to Paris, Warsaw, Berlin and additional continental dates. What the new album is doing for MUNA

The new cycle feels like a continuation of the band’s current run, but not a repetition of it. NME’s three-and-a-half-star review of Dancing On The Wall described the record as MUNA locking into “euphoric pop bangers with a shadowy side,” noting that while songs such as “Big Stick” push into newer lyrical terrain and occasionally lean toward heavier, rock-influenced textures, the album still stays close to the hyper-saturated synthpop language they have been refining since day one.

That tension between consistency and change is part of what has made this phase interesting. MUNA are not tearing up their own template so much as tightening it, and the album’s commercial shape seems to match that instinct. If Dancing On The Wall is about drawing the frame a little wider, the 2026 tour suggests the band are prepared to carry that version of themselves across rooms much bigger than the clubs and theaters where their reputation was built.
