Wanderstop soundtrack gets first vinyl release alongside new physical game editions
Wanderstop’s soundtrack is coming to vinyl for the first time, alongside physical Switch and PS5 editions from iam8bit and Annapurna.
Wanderstop is moving from screens to shelves: the game’s soundtrack is getting its first vinyl release, and Annapurna Interactive is also lining up physical editions of the cozy tea-shop game for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.
Released in March 2025, Wanderstop casts players as the operator of a modest tea shop, serving weary travelers with carefully mixed drinks. The premise is simple enough on paper, though the game’s appeal has always been in the detail: gathering ingredients, using the tea-making contraption, and hearing out the people who drift through the shop. As the original description puts it, players “grow and harvest the ingredients needed for tea, and then mix them together in an unusual tea-making contraption. Along the way, speak with the many travelers who pass through the shop, learn their stories and make tea that’s just right for them.”
The game is already out digitally on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC, but Annapurna Interactive has now partnered with iam8bit on physical versions for Nintendo Switch, priced at $49.99, and PlayStation 5, priced at $39.99. Both editions come with sticker packs featuring in-game fungi, plus a double-sided foldout poster of Alta, Boro and the flask of chaotic puffins. Pre-orders are now live at this link, and the release is set for August 28, 2026.
The soundtrack package is the bigger draw for collectors. Minecraft composer C418’s lofi score will arrive as a 2LP set on sunny yellow vinyl, while the animal-themed tracks from the game’s radio, collected as Wanderstop FM, will be pressed on seed pink vinyl. Both releases feature new artwork from Nat F., and both are available to pre-order now for $42.99 at the same pre-order page.
What makes this announcement feel more substantial than a standard merch drop is the way Wanderstop has already established its own small but distinct identity. C418’s name still carries a particular weight for players, but here the soundtrack is being treated less like a bonus and more like part of the game’s world-building, packaged with care and split into two separate records that mirror the experience of the main game and its in-game radio.
