Sparta announce October 2026 UK and European tour supporting new album Cut A Silhouette, out May 29 via Equal Vision/Rude Records.
Sparta will take their new record Cut A Silhouette to the UK and Europe this October, kicking off in Dublin and finishing in Kortrijk on October 22.
Their sixth LP arrives May 29 via Equal Vision/Rude Records — you can pre-order it here. It has already been previewed by the single Everything You Say.
The Texas alt-rock band’s October run covers classic stops and mid-sized rooms: Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, London and more across the UK before a short continental leg that hits Paris, Cologne, Berlin, Hamburg and Arnhem.

The record’s title came from an unexpected place: a line from Macaulay Culkin in a documentary about the late comedian John Candy, with Culkin saying Candy’s presence “just entered your brain and cut a silhouette.” That phrase lodged with frontman Jim Ward and helped frame the album’s mood.
