Aitana Launches Cuarto Azul World Tour in Almería With a Setlist Built on Intimacy and Reinvention

Aitana opened her Cuarto Azul World Tour on May 9 with a nearly 18,000-person concert at the Municipal Stadium Antonio Peroles in Almería, Spain, and the scale of the night did not cancel out its intimacy. Instead, the show leaned into it. She started with “6 de Febrero” from the center of the stage, lying on a white bed built into a two-level set, while her band played below. The staging was arranged like an open house, with stairs, platforms and separate rooms that shifted color and atmosphere as the performance moved forward, helped along by giant screens and lighting that repeatedly changed the temperature of the room.

Dressed in a custom nude look by Devol Studio and personalized boots from Hispanitas, Aitana moved between the more exposed emotional passages of her catalog and the high-energy material that has helped define her current run. The setlist was anchored in Cuarto Azul (2025), but she made room for earlier milestones too, revisiting songs such as “Mon Amour,” “Vas a Quedarte” and “Gran Vía.” It was less a clean promotional push than a reminder that her career has now accumulated enough eras to be staged against one another.

After “No Te Has Ido y Ya Te Extraño,” she stopped to address the crowd for the first time. “Welcome to our little piece of Cuarto Azul,” she said, before hinting that the show would also include “little reminders” of previous albums and where she comes from. That framing mattered. The concert was not just built around the new record’s identity, but around the way Aitana now uses live performance to connect the present to what came before.

Several of the biggest reactions came when the audience was asked to do some of the work. “Miamor” and “Las Babys” landed immediately, with fans singing nearly every word from the front row to the stands. During “Miamor,” they carried most of the first verse on their own, while “Con Los Ángeles” became one of the night’s clearest peaks. It was a telling response for a tour opener: the newer material may be central, but the audience still seemed most locked in when the set moved across the full span of her catalog.

The show also left space for the kind of unscripted moments that can make a stadium feel smaller. Aitana read signs, accepted gifts and spoke more than once about how emotionally tied she is to Cuarto Azul. Before “Desde Que Ya No Hablamos,” she explained that she did not want to omit a song that represents “the darkest part” of the set, even if it is not among the fans’ favorites. “Many of the songs were written while I was in Miami and feeling very sad,” she said, offering a rare, plainspoken explanation for the record’s emotional register.

The finale came with “Superestrella,” one of her biggest recent hits, which reached No. 8 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Pop Songs chart and No. 2 on Spain Songs. From there, the tour moves through Spain over the next few months before heading to Latin America in October, with dates in Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Mexico.
