Inside iHeartCountry Festival 2026: Backstage Photos from Austin’s Moody Center

The iHeartCountry Festival landed at Austin’s Moody Center on May 02, 2026, bringing a cluster of country heavyweights — Luke Bryan, Kane Brown and Parker McCollum among them — to a city that has long doubled as a proving ground for mainstream country energy.

Across a sun-bleached Saturday crowd and an arena-sized stage setup, the weekend threaded stadium-sized singalongs with quieter collaborative moments. Shaboozey sparked one of the loudest reactions of the night with his smash “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” while Riley Green closed the festival with a set that included “Worst Way” and a guest turn from Carly Pearce on “Don’t Mind If I Do.” Earlier in the day Green joined Pearce for their duet “If I Don’t Leave,” and Pearce also slipped in her hit “Happy Now.”

On the bigger-anthem side, Bryan kept the mood celebratory with crowd staples like “That’s My Kinda Night,” and Kane Brown sustained the festival’s momentum with cuts including “Bury Me in Georgia” and “Famous Friends.” Gretchen Wilson reminded the room why she still commands a stage, delivering classics like “Here For The Party” alongside the new “Redneck Shit.” Russell Dickerson, Dylan Scott and Shaboozey rounded out a lineup heavy on radio-forward hooks and crowd engagement.

The festival’s Daytime Village amplified that mix, offering sets from Lauren Alaina, George Birge, Chase Matthew, RaeLynn and Josh Ross — a reminder that the event operates as both a radio-era showcase and a moment for developing names to find new fans.

Bobby Bones returned as host, shepherding the day and lending a familiar voice to proceedings. The event’s reach extended beyond the arena: iHeartCountry stations nationwide and the iHeartRadio app carried the broadcast, and performances were livestreamed on Disney+ and Hulu, increasing the festival’s footprint beyond Austin for viewers who could not attend.

Festival partners this year included Capital One, America250, Bobcat, booking.com, Electric For All, She Rises Studios and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
