Jamie Foxx is reportedly about to become a father again, this time with girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp. The news would mark his third child overall and his first with Huckstepp, adding a new chapter to a family life that has long sat alongside his career in public view.

TMZ first reported the pregnancy on Tuesday (May 12), saying the musician-actor and Huckstepp are expecting. People soon confirmed the news. Billboard has reached out to Foxx’s representative for comment.
Foxx, now known to many audiences through projects like Back in Action, became a father roughly 32 years ago when he welcomed daughter Corinne with ex Connie Kline. He also shares 17-year-old Anelise with ex Kristin Grannis. That part of his life has often been folded into the broader Foxx narrative, not as a side note but as something he has spoken about with unusual candor when the conversation turns to family and survival.
Foxx and Huckstepp have reportedly been together since 2023, though the relationship briefly hit a pause in early 2025 before they got back together a few months later. The timing is notable against the backdrop of the health crisis Foxx endured in 2023, when a brain bleed led to a stroke and emergency surgery. Since then, he has been open about the recovery, including in his Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was… Netflix special, where he described the experience in blunt terms.
“I saw the tunnel. I didn’t see the light,” he recalled at the time. “It was hot in that tunnel. Sh–, am I going to the wrong place in this motherf—er? Because I looked at the end of the tunnel, and I thought I saw the devil, like, ‘C’mon. Or is that [Diddy]?’”
He has also said his daughters were central to getting him through that period. Anelise, he noted, helped by playing guitar for him in his hospital room, while Corinne kept the public from reaching him while he recovered. “I didn’t want you to see me like that,” he said. “I want you to see me like this.”
