Morgan Wallen Brings Out Caitlin Clark for Indianapolis Stadium Walkout

Morgan Wallen turned Saturday night’s stop at Lucas Oil Stadium into a hometown-adjacent spectacle, walking out with Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark after her game across town, a move that underlined how much his concert opener has become part of the show itself. The country star played the second of two nights in Indianapolis on his 2026 Still the Problem Tour, and Clark was the latest high-profile name to join the ritual he’s been building since 2023.

Clark arrived at Wallen’s concert after the Indiana Fever’s matchup with the Dallas Wings at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, just half a mile from the stadium. The Fever lost 107-104, but by the time Clark made it to Wallen’s show, she was all smiles. In the footage Wallen posted to Instagram on Sunday, he can be seen shooting mini hoops backstage before meeting Clark, hugging her, and heading out to greet the crowd. Clark, wearing denim, a crop top and a leather jacket, looked comfortable enough playing to the room as she hyped the audience while walking out with him.

The moment also circulated in fan-shot video Clark shared on her stories. It was a tidy crossover, if that word still fits when a pop-country stadium show borrows some of its electricity from one of basketball’s most visible young stars. Wallen has made a habit of bringing famous faces into those entrances, and over the years the walkout has become a kind of recurring subplot to his live runs rather than a one-off stunt.

That made the absence of a guest on Friday night in Indianapolis a little more noticeable, though not unusual. Wallen also walked out alone last weekend in Las Vegas, telling the crowd at Allegiant Stadium, “Y’all got some flaky a— people in this town. I had like five different people lined up to do the walkout and they all bailed on me last minute.” Even so, his previous I’m the Problem Tour and the earlier One Night at a Time Tour eventually accumulated a long list of recognizable walkout partners by the time each trek was done.

The Still the Problem Tour is still in its early stretch, with 11 cities total and two shows in each market. Wallen heads next to Gainesville, Fla., for May 15-16. His 2025 album I’m the Problem remains unusually durable as well, sitting at No. 4 on the latest Billboard 200 nearly a year after release. Ella Langley, who appears on Wallen’s current hit “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” opened Saturday’s show and is set for select upcoming dates too.

For Wallen, the Clark walkout fit neatly into a live strategy that has become part concert, part local event, part celebrity relay. It was also a reminder of how much scale now lives around his shows, even before he starts singing.
